The SBA reports from “2000 to 2017, small businesses created 8.4 million net new jobs while large businesses created 4.4 million. Thus, they accounted for 65.9% of net new job creation in the period.” This report highlights the importance and relevance of small in the sea of big businesses.

Zechariah 4:10 says, “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin.”

Impact is not about the mass or scale of the business. Impact is about the affect made on the one, that turns into two, and so on. Reflect today on Zechariah’s words that remind us there is a place and a need for small and that God delights in small beginnings.
